In 2001, after working as a backup dancer for various entertainment shows in Southern California, Morgan quickly discovered how impactful being a drag performer could be for the LGBTQ+ community. She decided to take on that responsibility as a leader and activist for her community. Fueled by a passion for performance and the art of female impersonation, drag became the natural path for her — and the stage persona of Morgan McMichaels was born.

Morgan is a consummate performer who knows how to command a crowd and remains one of the most beloved live entertainers in the drag scene. She is best known for her chameleon-like ability to embody anyone she seeks to emulate, with standout portrayals of P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Annie Lennox, Tabatha Coffey, Joan Collins, Boy George, and David Bowie, among others.

Morgan competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 and All Stars Season 3. While she did not win either competition, she quickly became a fan favorite known for her sass, competitive spirit, talent, and authenticity. Her strong work ethic and drive to excel have opened many doors — including opportunities to perform alongside Lady Gaga, Rihanna, P!nk, Joan Collins, and Lisa Rinna — and to be featured on WOW Presents, Drag U, Bravo Television, Entertainment Tonight, and Germany’s Next Top Model.

In addition to maintaining a full schedule of her own performances, Morgan also hosts and books entertainers from around the world at her venues across Southern California, including Micky’s West Hollywood, One Eleven Bar in Palm Springs, Hamburger Mary’s West Hollywood, The Executive Suite in Long Beach, and Hamburger Mary’s Long Beach.
